“There is another world, but it is in this one.” You have always been able to create, to briskly with head held high, walk frightening paths that many find unattainable. You have lived through some flash and crash days with hardly a scratch, except on the surface. You have enjoyed a diluvio of applause and praise while always walking between two lines, artistic and realistic, which allowed you to be a citizen of the world, bringing all of us into that world to sit in awe, you giving us the juice for our parched throats as if sitting through a dry opera.

At the moment we witness the earth in a trance and the leaders who are to lead are just limp and dangerous as if controlled by a foreign or evil ventriloquist making us feel like a nowhere man. But enough of this, it‘s your birthday, I couldn’t be happier to be able to wish you the very best of all things. Let us forget that there is a Sturmspiel outside and enjoy the day…perhaps just waiting for Beckett. Love you my brother.
